Found in Queensland and New South Wales Australia in heathy forests and on the margins of swamps at elevations around 900 meters as a small sized, cold growing terrestrial with a single, stem clasping, free part .6 to 1.2" long leaf ending below the flowers that blooms in the later spring on an erect, .32 to 8" [.8 to 2 cm] long, 2 to 25 flowered inflorescence and carrying flowers with an unpleasant musky scent
