Found in New South Wales Australia close to swamps among shrubs or among grass bordering streams at elevations of 700 to 800 meters as a mini-miniature to small sized, cold growing terrestrial with a single, short, stem clasping, free part .4 to .8" long, almost as long as the flowers leaf that blooms in the spring on an erect, .8 to 1.6" [2 to 4 cm] long, 10 to 25 flowered inflorescence
