Found in New South Wales Australia in montane swamps among sedges at elevations around 1000 meters as a mini-miniature to small sized, cold growing terrestrial with a single, short, stem clasping, free part .5 to .8" long leaf ending well below the flowers that blooms in later spring through early summer on an erect, .8 to 1.2" [2 to 3 cm] long, 10 to 20 flowered inflorescence
