Found in New South Wales in among shrubs and grass tussocks in sparse woodlands at elevations of 200 to 700 meters as a small sized, cold growing terrestrial with a single, stem clasping, free part .8 to 1.2" long, shorter than the flowers leaf that blooms in the early summer through fall on an erect, .4 to 1.2" [1 to 3 cm] long, 3 to 10 flowered inflorescence
