Found in eastern New South Wales Australia at elevations of 100 to 200 meters as a miniature to small sized, cold growing terrestrial with a slender stem carrying a much below the inflorescence stem bract that blooms in the summer to mid fall on an erect, short, dense, rachis 1.2 to 1.4" [3 to 3.5 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence.
