Found in southwestern Victoria and rarely in Tasmania Australia in open forests near swamps at elevations of 50 to 100 meters as a miniature sized, cold growing terrestrial with a close hugging leaf with the free part ending just at the first flower and blooming in the later spring on an erect, 1.6" [ 4 cm] long, densely many flowered inflorescence.
