Found in New South Wales Australia in sparse woodlands among grass tussocks and shrubs at elevations of 300 to 600 meters as a mini-miniature to small sized, cold growing terrestrial with a single, short, stem clasping, free part .4 to .72" long leaf ending below the flowers that blooms in early summer through mid fall on an erect, .4 to .8" [1 to 2 cm] long, 1 to 9 flowered inflorescence
