Found in New South Wales Australia in moss gardens under shrubs at elevations 600 to 1000 meters as a small sized, cold growing terrestrial with a single, stem clasping, free part .4 to .8" long leaf ending below the flowers that blooms in the summer on an erect, .8 to 1.6" [2 to 4 cm] long, 5 to 23 flowered inflorescence
