Found in New Guinea at elevations around 1000 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial with a broadly ovate, shortly acuminate to apiculate, cordate-amplexicaul basally leaf that blooms in the late winter and early spring on an erect, sessile, glabrous, single flowered inflorescence with a lanceolate-subulate, acuminate bract.
