Found in Sumatra on Bangka Island in moss at elevations around 600 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm growing terrestrial with more or less ovoid, long hairy tubers giving rise to an erect, 1.4" [3.5 cm] long stem with a basal sheath carrying a sessile, horizontal, ovate-cordate, apiculate, the basal lobes almost surrounding the stem, margins undulate, glauscent greeen with whitish veined leaf that blooms on a single flowered inflorescence with an 8 day flower with erect, longer than the ovary floral bracts.
