This miniature sized, cool to cold growing terrestrial or occasional epiphyte species is from New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania Australia, occuring in moist sheltered sites in open, sclerophyll and rainforest with a mostly round, basally clasping, ground hugging single leaf that blooms in the winter and spring on a single flowered, short, erect inflorescence, pollinated possibly by fungus gnats.
