Found on Macquarie Island in wet bogs at elevations of sealevel to 30 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cold growing terrestrial with a single, dark green above, silvery green beneath, thick textured leaf that blooms in the late spring and early summer on an erect, short, single flowered inflorescence
