Found in penninsular Malaysia, Sumatra, Java, and the Lesser Sunda Islands in forests on mossy tree trunks or the ground below them at elevations of 1310 to 1520 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing terrestrial, lithophyte or occasional epiphyte with a rather large, ovate, somewhat cordate basally, long acuminate apically, pale green with even paler green veins, undulate margined leaf that blooms in the summer on a very short to 1/2" [1.2 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence.
