Common Name The Karo Corybas [refers to an area of northern Sumatra]

Found in Sumatra in montane forests at elevations of 1500 to 1600 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing terrestrial with an ovoid tuber giving rise to an erect, angled stem enveloped by a triangular, basal sheath and carrying a single, sessile, horizontal, ovate-cordate, apiculate, basal lobes rounded and almost surronding the stem, undulate margined, veins slightly raised, dull bluish-green with paler veins above, shiny glaucous, gray-green beneath leaf which is held well above the ground and blooms in the spring on a short, single flowered inflorescence with erect, transluscent floral bracts
