Common Name The Yellow Coryanthes

Flower Size 1" x 2" [2.5 wide by 5 cm long]

Found on the Pacific coast of Choco department of Colombia near the Serrania de Baudo, in mangrove marshlands at or near sea level as a small to medium sized, hot growing epiphyte with ovoid, ribbed pseudobulbs carrying plicate, soft, elliptic-lanceolate, acute, narrowing below into the elongate, petiolate base leaf that blooms on a pendant 2 to 3 flowered inflorescence carrying fragrant flowers and is the smallest flowered Coryanthes of the genus.
