Found in Sabah and Sarawak Borneo on mossy banks in mossy montane forests at elevations of 1350 to 2000 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing terrestrial with a subangular stem enveloped by a basal sheath carrying a single, apical, sessile, heart shaped, acuminate, flat with smooth margins, pale green leaf that blooms in the spring on an erect, single flowered inflorescence
