Found in Queensland Australia, New Caledonia and Vanuatu in low scrub or in dense forests in deep humus at elevations of 200 to 1250 meters as a very small, hot to cool growing terrestrial with a single, cordate, flush to the substrate, veined, round leaf that blooms in the fall and winter on an erect, short, single flowered inflorescence
