Common Name or Meaning The Taiwan Corybas - In China Tai Wan Kai Lan

Flower Size 1" [2.5 cm]

Found in northern Taiwan on mossy cliffs and rocky outcrops in forests at elevations around 1400 meters as a mini-miniature, cool growing terrestrial with a subglobose tuber giving rise to an erect, pilose subterranean stem becoming an erect, glabrous stem with a basal, short cataphyl at the basal node and carrying a solitary, near the apex of the stem, sessile, cordate, reticulate venation, acute apically leaf that has a lanceolate, longer than the ovary floral bract and carrying a single, subsessile flower blooming in the later summer.
