Found in Java in leaf litter and humus in primary forests at elevations of 1000 to 2300 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool to cold growing terrestrial with a single, cordate, apiculate, usually undulate margins, bright green above with faint veining, green below, held well above the ground [diagnostic], petiolate base leaf that blooms in the spring on a single flowered inflorescence
