Flower Size

Found in southern Yunnan province of China as a terrestrial.

C malipoensis is most similar to C. appendiculata, but C malipoensis inflorescences have fewer flowers (only 4 to 7), its flowers are positioned horizontally and become slightly pendulous, the lateral lobes of the lip are geniculate and twisted 90° at the base, and the mid-lobe of the lip is somewhat reflexed, rhombic to broadly ovoid, and .36 to .4" x .32 to .36" [9 to 10 × 8 to 9 mm].
