Found in Ivory Coast, Cameroon and Sao Tome in humid montane forests at elevations of 600 to 2100 meters as an erect, small sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with an erect to horizontal stem carrying 2 ranked, conduplicate, linear-oblanceolate, unequally bilobed apically leaves that bloms in the spring on an axillary to basal, spreading, 3.6 to 6" [9 to 15 cm] long, 7 to 12 flowered inflorescence with oval, acute floral bracts.
