Found in Tanzania in montane forests at elevations of 2000 to 2100 meters as a miniature sized, cold growing epiphyte with an erect stem carrying 5, in 2 rows towards the apex of the stem, conduplicate, linear-oblanceolate, unequally and bluntly bilobed leaves that blooms in the winter on an axillary or basal, spreading, 4 to 5.2" [10 to 13 cm] long, 6 to 10 flowered inflorescence with oval, acute bracts and .4" [1 cm] between each flower.
