Common Name or Meaning The Orange Lined Crossoglossa [refers to the coloration on the lip]

Found in Costa Rica in very wet, cool locations at elevations around 1400 to 1500 meters as a small sized, cool growing epiphyte with an erect, short stem carrying narrowly elliptic to linear-lanceolate, retuse, membraneaceous leaves with undulate margins and blooms in the spring on a terminal, elongate, strongly four-angled, warty ridged, erect to arching, successively many flowered inflorescence with conspicuous, triangular, acuminate to attenuate floral bracts.
