Common Name The Lute Shaped Lip Crossoglossum

Flower Size

Found in Antioquia department of Colombia in marshy montane rainforests at elevations around 1850 meters as a medium sized, cool growing terrestrial with an erect stem carrying 6 to 8, ligulate-oblanceolate to oblong-lanceolate, acute to obtuse, subpetiolate base leaves that blooms in the later winter on an erect, peduncle 4.8 to 5.2" [12 to 13 cm] long, rachis to 10.8" [to 27 cm] long, subdensely many flowered inflorescence with lanceolate, acute, shorter than the ovary floral bracts and carrying green flowers.
