Found in Putumayo department of Colombia in montane forests at elevations around 2000 meters as an epiphyte with a short stem carrying 6, narrowly ligulate-lanceolate, acuminate, subpetiolate base leaves that blooms in the late summer and early fall on an erect, peduncle 1.6" [4 cm] long, costate-angulate, evaginate, rachis 6" [15 cm] long, densely many flowered inflorescence with lanceolate, acuminate, as long as the clavate pedicellate ovary and carrying greenish flowers.
