Found in Costa Rica and Panama at elevations around 1000 meters as a miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte without pseudobulbs but with an erect, short stem carrying coriaceous, spreading, approximate, linear-ligular, obtuse to unequally emarginate, gradually narrowing below into the conduplicate base leaves that blooms in the late spring on a numerous, slender, erect to arching, usually nearing the length of the leaves, single flowered inflorescence that have several, papery, tubular, imbricating bracts and a floral bract that is as long as the floral tube.

CAUTION I have no real way of verifying this determination so please use with caution, Williams 1946 states that the flowers are tan to brownish olive.
