Common Name Dunsterville's Cryptocentrum [American Orchid Enthusiasts in Venezuela 1900's]

Flower Size .2" [5 mm]

Found in Guyana and southeastern Venezuela in wet forests at elevations of 500 to 1300 meters as a mini-miniature to miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with a swollen base consisting of leaf bases and carrying 3 to 5, apical, erect, smooth, light green, rather soft, thick, fleshy, lightly sulcate on the inner face, smoothly round on the back, linear to terete, acute leaves that blooms on a basal, dark brown, to 2" [5 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence .

CAUTION I am not sure of this determination, mostly because the plant was found in central Colombia and it has not been cited for there. The leaf also appears to be wide and flat not almost terete. The Drawing by Dunsterville of C gracillimum is correct for the drawing but not for the name = C dunstervilleorum.
