Flower Size 1 to 2" [2.5 to 5 cm]

Found in New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria Australia at elevations of sea level to 600 meters in rainforests, wet and drier forests and heathlands among grasses, sedges and low shrubs as a medium to large sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial with an erect stem with basal, narrowly lanceolate to ovate, leathery, dark green above, purple below, narrowing below into the elongate petiolate base leaves that blooms in the late winter through early fall on an erect, 12 to 32" [30 to 80 cm] long, 2 to 12 flowered inflorescence
