Common Name or Meaning The Delicate Cryptocentrum

Found in Costa Rica and Panama at elevations of 500 to 1000 meters as a mini-miniature to miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with an erect, monopodial stem enveloped basally by roots and apically by leaf sheaths carrying hemi-cylindric, linear, thick, adaxially shallowly concave, abaxially convex, with no raised midvein, obtuse, unequally bilobulate, erose margins, multinerved leaves that blooms in the later spring through fall on a basal, erect to horizontally spreading, peduncle terete, 1.6 to 3.6" [4 to 9 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence carrying dull olivaceous colored flowers.
