Flower Size 1.2" [3 cm]
Found in Panama, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia at elevations of 1700 to 2450 meters as a miniature sized, cool to cold growing, caespitose epiphyte with a somewhat branching rhizome giving rise to a stem enveloped by articulated, distichous, imbricating, leaf-bearing sheaths and carrying narrowly linear, arcuate, conduplicate, articulated to the broader base leaves that blooms in the fall and winter on an erect, to 2.4" [6 cm] long, terete, single flowered inflorescence largely enveloped by tubular, acute bracts and has an infundibular, acute, slightly longer than the ovary floral bract.
CAUTION!!!!Every drawing I can find is completely different but I feel that this one is correct.
