Found as a miniature sized, cool to cold growing, terrestrial species in Western Australia at elevations of 5 to 800 meters occuring in open forests and woodlands (often Box-ironbark type] as well as in open scrubland, heathlands and heathy woodlands nearer the coast in well drained soils with a single, prostrate leaf that blooms in the late winter and early spring on a erect, 6" [15 cm] tall, single flowered inflorescence.
