Common Name The Sparkling Cyanicula - In Australia - The Blue China Orchid

Flower Size 1.2 to 2" [3 to 5 cm]

Found as a miniature sized, cold growing, terrestrial species in Western Australia in light forest, shrubland and heath in well drained sandy soils and laterite at elevations of 20 to 350 meters with dark green and shiny above, purplish brown beneath, warty and stiffly pubescent, bumped leaves that blooms in the late winter early spring on a 2 to 6" [5 to 15 cm] long, 1 to 3 flowered inflorescence.
