Flower Size 1/2" [1.25 cm]

Found in Brazil and Argentina at elevations around 900 meters as a small sized, cool to ocld growing terrestrial with a few basal, dark green 2 to 3 striped light green, ovate, obtuse, gradually narrowing below into the elongate, petiolate base leaves that blooms in the fall on a terminal, erect, to 16" [to 40 cm] long, several flowered inflorescence with lanceolate, acute, spaced bracts and shorter than the ovary floral bracts
