Common Name or Meaning Hatchbach's Cyclopogon [Brazilian Orchid Collector early 1900's]

Flower Size

Found in Parana state of Brazil on rocks in thin humus among moss along river bed as a small sized, warm growing lithophyte with a few basal, erect-patent, elliptic, acumiante, slightly undulate margins, attenuate below into the pseudopetiolate base leaves that blooms in the early summer on a terminal, erect, somewhat sinuous, glabrous below puberulent-villous above, peduncle 11 to 14 cm] long, enveloped by 6 to 8 acuminate bracts, rachis to 3.6" [9 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence with erect-patent, very acuminate somewhat shorter below to slightly longer than the flowers above floral bracts and carrying subsecund, dirty white flowers, green above.
