Common Name or Meaning Hatchbach's Cyclopogon [Brazilian Orchid Collector early 1900's]

Found in Parana state of Brazil as a small sized, warm growing lithophyte with a few basal, erect-patent, elliptic, acumiante, slightly undulate margins, attenuate below intothe pseudopetiolate base leaves that blooms in the summer on a terminal, erect, 8 to 10" [20 to 25 cm] long overall, somewhat sinuous, glabrous below puberulent-villous above, peduncle enveloped by 6 to 8 acuminate bracts, rachis to 3.6" [9 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence with erect-patent, , very acuminate somewhat shorter below to slightly longer than the flowers above floral bracts and carrying subsecund flowers.
