Found in Mexico, Guatemala, Belize, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama and Colombia at elevtions of 400 to 1600 meters as a mini-miniature to small sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with an erect, short stem enveloped by leaf sheaths carrying elliptic, acute, gradually narrowing below into the shortly petiolate base leaves that blooms in the winter and spring on an erect, terminal, .8 to 3.2" [2 to 8 cm] long, several to many flowered inflorescence
