Common Name The Many Flowered Cyclopogon
Flower Size 1/4" [6 mm]
Found in Rio de Janiero, Sao Paulo and Santa Catarina states of Brazil as a small sized, cool growing Epiphyte with basal, in a rosette, oblong to suborbicular, acuminate, narrowing below into the elongate, petiolate base leaves that blooms in the spring on a terminal, erect, peduncle 5.2 to 8" [13 to 20 cm] long, provided with 5 to 6, lanceolate, acuminate sheathing bracts, rachis 6" to 10" [15 to 25 cm] long, densely many flowered inflorescence with inflated, lanceolate, acute, as long as the ovary floral bracts.
Schlechter compared this species to Cyclopogon prasophyllus
