Common Name or Meaning The Variegated Cyclopogon [refers to the leaves]

Flower Size 1/4" [6 mm]

Found in Districto Federal area of Brazil at elevations around 1400 meters as a small to medium sized, cool growing terrestrial orchid with a basal rosette of 3 to 4, ovate, obtuse, gradually narrowing below into the elongate, petiolate base leaves that blooms in the winter on a terminal, erect, 8 to 10" [20 to 25 cm] long, several flowered inflorescence with spaced, lanceolate, acute bracts and shorter than the ovary floral bracts.
