Common Name The Terete Petiole Leaf Cymbidium - In China Qi Ban Hong Chun Su

Flower Size 2.4 to 2.8" [6 to 7 cm]

Found in southern Yunnan province of China in forests in rocky places at unknown elevations as a medium sized, cool to cold terrestrial with small, ovoid, 2 to 3 noded pseudobulbs carrying 3 to 5, lorate, acute apically, contracted at the base into a petiolate-like, basally stalked leaves, not articulate basally leaves that blooms in the winter on a basal, erect, 7.6 to 8.4" [19 to 21 cm] long, 2 to 4 flowered inflorescence with several sheaths and greenish, linear-lanceolate floral bracts.
