Common Name The Wenshan Cymbidium [A city in Yunnan Province] - In China Wen Shan Hong Zhu Lan

Flower Size 2.4 to 2.8" [6 to 7 cm]

Found in southeastern Yunnan province of China and northern Vietnam in forests on trees at elevations of 1000 to 1500 meters as a large sized, cool growing epiphyte with ovoid pseudobulbs enveloped by persistent sheaths and carrying linear-lorate, arcuate, acuminate, dark green leaves that blooms in the late winter and early spring on a 12.8 to 15.6" [32 to 39 cm] long, 3 to 7 flowered inflorescence carrying showy, fragrant flowers.
