Flower Size 1/2" to .68" [1.2 to 1.7 cm]

Found in southcentral Madagascar in montane scrub and on rocky outcrops at elevations around 1600 to 2600 meters as a mini-miniature to small sized, cool to cold growing terrestrial or lithophyte with 2, elongated tubers giving rise to 1 to rarely 2, obovate-elliptic, oblanceolate to lanceolate, very longly attenuate basally leaves that blooms in the mid summer through earlier fall on a terminal, erect, 8 to 16" [20 to 40 cm] long, several to many flowered inflorescence.
