Common Name The Spotted Cynorkis

Flower Size

Found in montane and riverine forests on banks and rocks at elevations of 800 to 1800 meters as a small to just medium szied, warm to cool growing terrestrial with a solitary, basal, strap-shaped leaf that blooms in the later spring on an erect, terminal, to 14" [35 cm] long, arising from a newly developing shoot, green suffused with brown red, densely 10 to 35 flowered inflorescence with green, red tipped floral bracts.
