Common Name The Gymnochilum Like Cynorkis

Found in central Madagascar on rocky outcrops at elevations of 1500 to 2200 meters as a small sized, cool to cold growing terrestrial or lithophyte with villous tubers giving rise to an erect stem carrying 2 to 5, radical, adpressed to the soil, oblanceolate-elliptical, slightly acuminate leaves that blooms in the summer on an erect, terminal, hispid-glandular, short to 1" [to 2.5 cm] long, oval-oblong, densely many flowered inflorescence with equal to the pedicel floral bracts.
