Common Name or Meaning Millet Blooming Like Cynorchis
Flower Size .6" [1.5 cm]
Found in central Madagascar on rocky outcrops on quartz soil at elevations of 1500 to 2000 meters as a small to medium sized, cool growing litho-terrestrial with a radical, linear-acute, attenuate into the petiolate base leaf leaf that blooms in the summer on a terminal, erect, conical or oblong, 1.6" [4 cm] long, densely 7 to 20 flowered inflorescence.
