Common Name The Short Spur Cynorkis

Found in central Madagascar in high elevation humid, mossy forests on lake shores or in marshy grasslands at elevations 2400 to 2500 meters as a mini-miniaure to miniature sized, cold growing terrestrial with 2 tubers giving rise to 3 to 5, basal, linear, grass-like, erect leaves that blooms in the mid summer on an erect, glabrous, lax, to 2.5 to 1.6" [1 to 4 cm] long, 2 to 15 flowered inflorescence.

Close to C brachyceras but on this one the lip shape is different and the spur and column wings are much shorter
