Common Name The Purple Cynorchis

Flower Size .9" [2.2 cm]

Found in Mauritius and Madagascar on wet rocks bordering streams and river margins at elevations of 570 to 2000 meters as a small to medium sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial or lithophyte with 4 to 5, radical, lanceolate, acuminate to obtuse, leaves that blooms in the summer through fall on an erect, 8 to 14" [20 to 35 cm] long, laxly, 9 to 13 flowered inflorescence.
