Common Name The Reticulate Cynorkis [refers to the yellow reticulate leaves]
Flower Size 1" [2.5 cm]
Found in Reunion and Madagascar at elevations of 750 to 2000 meters as a small sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial with tuberous roots giving rise to an erect, glandular hairy stem carrying 1 to 3, basal, radical, wavy, slender, ovate to lanceolate, firm, sharp, green on both sides, yellow reticulate above leaves that blooms in the later winter and spring on an erect, 4 to 12" [10 to 30 cm] long, several flowered inflorescence.
CAUTION Said by Kew to be a synonym of C squamosa but I cannot see the connection if this determination is correct. I have left them separate pending better references. PLEASE use with caution!!!
