Common Name or Meaning The Rock Loving Cynorkis

Flower Size .64" [1.6 cm] long,

Found in south central and east central Madagascar on shaded wet rocks at elevations around 1700 to 2700 meters as a miniature to small sized, cool to cold growing terrestrial with elongated tubers giving rise to an erect stem carrying 3 radical, linear to ligulate-linear, acute, glabrous leaves that blooms in the earlier summer on a terminal, erect, 4.8 to 10" [12 to 25 cm] long overall, rachis 1.6" [4 cm] long, very loose, 3 to 15 flowered inflorescence.

CAUTION!!! The Photo determination above does not conform well with the references that I have, so please use with caution! The Type drawing is absolutely correct.
