Common Name or Meaning The Spatula Shaped Cynorkis

Flower Size 1.4 to 1.6" [3.5 to 4 cm] long

Found in southeastern Madagascar in grasslands or on sandstone rocks and wet sand near the sea at elevations of sea level to 100 meters as a small sized, hot growing terrestrial or lithophyte with 2, oblong tubers giving rise to 2, radical, adpressed to the soil, oval to oval-lanceolate, shortly acute apically, rounded to slightly attenuate basally leaves that blooms in the late fall on a terminal, erect, short, 2 to 6 flowered inflorescence
