Found in Reunion in the volcanic area of the southeast at elevations of 800 to 1500 meters as a small sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial that blooms in the summer on a terminal, erect, to 8" [20 cm] long, few flowered inflorescence with variably colored flowers.
