Common Name Hera's Paphiopedilum [Greek god Queen of the goods that walked in golden slippers and allusion to one of the parents C parviflorum the golden lipped Cyp]

Flower Size 3" [7.5 cm]

Found in Manitoba province of Canada as a natural hybrid between Cypripdedium reginae and C parviflorum that blooms in the late spring on an erect, single flowered inflorescence.

Cypripdedium reginae are the rose colored flowers to the left in the photo above, one of the parents of C x herae, which is the brown striped flower to the right of the photo.
